It's probably not enough for some people to simply wear Ralph Lauren. Their craving for the brand does not end there. They need to taste it. Ralph Lauren was inspired by his loyal patrons to open his restaurant which he named (surprise, surprise) RL.
This bar and grill is located in 115 E Chicago Ave, Chicago, IL and I had the opportunity to personally view the restaurant from the outside. RL's facade looked like one of his stores except that it had chairs and tables. Without the words 'bar' and 'grill', one would think that it was just another Ralph Lauren store.
So what did the interior look like? I wouldn't know. I did not enter RL. At that time, it was enough for me to pass by the place and take a photo from the outside. However, I do regret not going in and taking a peek at the menu. It would have been nice to blog about it.
Although I have always admired his work and just recently bought a few outfits for my daughter (at TJMaxx and Marshalls), I am still in a phase of wearing, not eating, Ralph Lauren. Besides, the thought of digesting and defecating designer food is not very practical right now. Maybe someday, when I become a millionaire, I will indulge.
